Questions & Answers
Look for product information, frequently asked questions, opinions...
Question:
what size mattresses or sleeping pads will fit in this tent?
Answer:
The interiour dimensions of this tent are 82.6 x 82.6 inches so sleeping pads that are shorter than that will fit.
Question:
What size footprint do you recommend?
Answer:
It is recommended to have a footprint that is slightly smaller than your tent so the water doesn't pool. I recommend this model 1163704.

Product Customer Reviews
You have to set up this tent very well otherwise a pool will collect under your mat/air mattress, otherwise it's a really great thing. very waterproof and easy to set up, but folding could be seen as an Olympic sport.
👍
Easy to unfold and a little harder to fold when you haven't got the hang of it, this tent is great, easily transportable and once closed you can't see the light of day
Great !!
very good
Good product
I've had this tent for a few years and used it all over England and Scotland. Goes up in seconds and I have it pegged out and ready in well under 5 minutes these days. Putting it down is easy too once you know how, and it has several clips and a pull string to make it even easier. The blackout is incredible, I have to open the side flap to see if it's morning or not. It has two side window flaps which can be fully open or mesh for ventilation. Great for draining tea dregs out of the side if you fancy a cup in the night you don't want to get completely out of the tent to drain it. And the flaps don't let any rain in. The porch is small but plenty of room for boots and gear for a few people. There's a decent pocket on either side and a lantern hook. It stands up really well to bad weather, on a recent trip with really bad weather out of 5 tents in the group, only this one stayed dry inside. It's deceptively roomy, although I did push it too far once with 4 of us and a dog. I don't recommend that. But 2 or 3 people and gear, no problem. Basically this tent has never let me down. My only gripe is that I can't take it backpacking because being a pop up tent it folds into a big flat disc bag. Hard recommend.
Great lightweight tent , fresh and black tech is brilliant
great because "black" really performs well even in direct sunlight Too bad because Not available in green... white and blue are not great for blending into nature and being discreet in bivouac. The strap rings for anchoring it to the ground should be larger and/or have elastic. Difficult to plant it and even more difficult to unplant it...
The tent was purchased in 2019. It serves both of us invariably 2-3 times a year for a few days out - from camping trips to festivals. Well, it is irreplaceable and the fresh and black option is phenomenal. Ventilation is also excellent. There is plenty of space on the sides of the embers and for luggage and provisions. The price is high, but the comfort it provides is incomparable.
Excellent decathlon product! 3rd purchase of this same item, and it's still great.
Used a hundred times for 4 years and perhaps the best product purchased at the level of camping skills in England at my place and Opal Coast / Dieppe. buy the largest for more comfort. disappointed to see that after 4 years the white material becomes very fragile and tears easily. why not use the blue material that seems better quality. I have an English Wynster tent that lasted 30 years without problems.
Tent damaged, a side rod was missing.
We bought the tent for a festival. We were absolutely delighted. It was cooler in the blazing sun than outside, but it also insulates well at night. The little bit more space compared to the normal Fresh and Black pop-up tents is particularly great. The vestibule is practical for luggage and the side windows are more than brilliant. When our caravan was in the workshop, we spontaneously had to spend a night in the tent. Two people and two small and one medium-sized dogs found enough space to sleep. The tent survived a very heavy thunderstorm during the night. It wobbled a little, but stood rock solid, didn't buckle or anything like that and was completely waterproof. Even though we rarely need it, we would never want to be without this tent again.
The product is fine
Additional Product Information
Composition
Double roof: 100.0% Polyester ; Inner fabric: 100.0% Polyester ; Floor mat: 100.0% Polyethylene ; Pole: 100.0% Glass Fiber ; Carry bag: 100.0% Polyester
Pitching/folding
Quick to pitch. Free-standing tent (place it wherever you like, and if there's no wind, no need for pegs = ready to use!). Easy to fold thanks to the Easy guiding system.
Mattress compatibility
We recommend you use the tent with the self-inflating or backpacking mattress measuring 23.6Inch maximum. We do not recommend the use of inflating mattresses over 2.4Inch height in this tent due to the reduction in living space and resistance to condensation.
Ventilation
Flysheet with 2 side panels that can be opened out and attached to the side guy ropes (opens from the inside). Air can circulate in the bedroom. 2 spaces between the flysheet and the ground on each side in the bedroom to enable the air to renew itself and limit natural condensation. Fresh concept to reduce the heat from the sun.
Waterproofing
All Quechua tents are validated in a laboratory (whole tent under 200 L/sqm/h for 4 hours), as well as in the field. (2000 mm PU-coated polyester fly sheet, 4.2 oz/sqm polyethylene groundsheet, all seams sealed using thermobonded tape). A breathable polyester bedroom under the flysheet means you aren't in contact with the condensation that forms naturally on the inside of the flysheet.
Wind-resistance
We test all our tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable to expose each side of the tent to the wind. A properly pitched tent with all guy ropes fitted around the tent must remain habitable in wind speeds up to 30 mph near the ground (Force 6).
Warranty / after-sales service
As designers and users who love our playing field, we care about the durability of our products, that is why all our tents are designed to be repairable. If you have any issues, please reach out to customer service.
Storage instructions
Storage: after use or cleaning, do not store your tent until it is perfectly dry to prevent odors and mold from forming.
